"Everyone should be able to write their own book"
I was studying chemistry in Georgia when a car accident ended that. I moved to Austria at 26, spent two years learning German well enough to study in it, and started again — teacher training, Chemistry and English. At 30 I took leave from it to build this.
The idea came from two places at once. I was reading Marcus Aurelius' Meditations — a private notebook, never written to be read, which is exactly why it still lands. And I was watching my mother journal every day, the same way, for years. What if the patterns she was writing down could be read back to her? What if anyone could keep their own Meditations and have something notice what runs through it?
I funded it working part-time at a coffee shop in a small Austrian village. Every version of this app was built between shifts.
